Every player who comes for their selection trial gets their exclusive city team jersey. Custom design. City colours. BCPL brand. Only produced for this season. Once it's gone, it's gone forever. This alone is worth more than your entry fee.

How It's Played

Not at all. BCPL welcomes all cricket enthusiasts — from beginners to experienced players. If you love the game and want to represent your city, you're eligible. Your enthusiasm and team spirit matter just as much as your skill.
BCPL uses a standard PVC (soft) ball — the same kind used in box cricket everywhere. No leather ball, no hard ball, completely safe. You don't need special protective equipment beyond standard precautions.
Your entry fee is for selection trial entry — this helps us manage crowd size at each trial. It includes your exclusive limited-edition city team jersey (not available for purchase separately, ever) and professional photo/video coverage at the trial, plus exclusive offers from our partners. Being selected into the final team squad isn't guaranteed — trials are competitive. Selected players go on to participate in all league matches and the grand finale in Visakhapatnam. The fee itself varies by city — you'll see your exact amount once you register.
Once you're selected into a city's final squad, your team takes care of travel, accommodation, food, and official kit for match days — check with your team for exact arrangements. Bring your own kit to the selection trial itself; the ball will be provided for bowlers.
No — creating your Player Profile is standard for every player and takes a few minutes. Selection trial entry has to be purchased separately, per trial, whenever you're ready.
Standard overarm bowling only. No underarm deliveries, no throwing or chucking (bent-arm delivery). The arm must be reasonably straight at the point of release. Think how you naturally bowl cricket — that's exactly what's expected.
The grand BCPL finale takes place in Visakhapatnam, where all 16 city teams converge. Travel and accommodation details will be communicated to registered players — stay tuned to your registered contact details.
Each city's Team Owner selects their squad from the players who've enrolled in that city's selection trials. Registering and getting your Selection Pass gets you into the trial — final team composition is the Team Owner's call.
