The Basics

Tennis Ball Only
BCPL uses a tennis ball. No leather ball, no hard ball, no worries. Safe, fast, and fun for every skill level.

Standard Cricket Rules
All standard cricket rules apply — proper wickets, LBW, run-outs, catches, and standard batting/bowling conventions.

7 Playing + 1 Standby
Each team fields 7 playing members plus 1 standby. Squad composition is your team owner's call.

City vs City Format
Group stages followed by knockouts, all culminating in a grand final in Visakhapatnam.
What's NOT Allowed
🚫
No Underarm Bowling
All deliveries must be proper overarm. Underarm bowling is strictly prohibited — no exceptions.
⛔
No Throwing or Chucking
The bowling arm must be straight at the point of delivery. Throwing or chucking will result in a no-ball and may lead to the bowler being taken off.

No Illegal Deliveries
No beamers, no deliberate bodyline bowling. The spirit of cricket is expected from all participants.

No Unsporting Conduct
BCPL is about competitive spirit and city pride — aggressive behaviour, verbal abuse, or unsporting conduct will not be tolerated.

Not at all. BCPL welcomes all cricket enthusiasts — from beginners to experienced players. If you love the game and want to represent your city, you're eligible. Your enthusiasm and team spirit matter just as much as your skill.

BCPL uses a standard tennis ball — the same kind used in box cricket everywhere. No leather ball, no hard ball, completely safe. You don't need special protective equipment beyond standard precautions.

₹599 covers your BCPL Season 1 player registration, your exclusive limited-edition city team jersey (not available for purchase separately, ever), participation in all league matches, professional photo and video coverage, and your entry to the grand finale in Visakhapatnam.

Standard overarm bowling only. No underarm deliveries, no throwing or chucking (bent-arm delivery). The arm must be reasonably straight at the point of release. Think how you naturally bowl cricket — that's exactly what's expected.

The grand BCPL finale takes place in Visakhapatnam, where all 16 city teams converge. Travel and accommodation details will be communicated to registered players — stay tuned to your registered contact details.
